Irma and I brought the boys up to our land for a weekend of camping. Our cabin provided a secure and dry place to be. We had a great time with campfires, good food, and good outdoor fun. Now that the children are out of school we were able to yesterday walk up to the cabin from the Casa and we spent a couple of hours having some fun out of their usual rutine and environment. We plan to share this blessing with others providing a close place to get away from the rutine.
Thank you for being part of what Irma and I do here at Casa de Ninos.
God bless you and have a great day,
Russ

Our cabin vision
Having a cabin on our land is a dream that we have had for some time. Our desire is to be a blessing to others. The Casa children, staff of Casa de Ninos, and as Irma and I are part of a Pastors allianse we want to give of ourselves to build up and encourage them. Our cabin project is part of that; we feel an important part as we share the blessing. For that reason we are pushing on to complete. The project is moving on as you can see in the picture. Maybe God would have you be a part in this project. Pray about it.

Sharing God's word is a joy! It is fun to explore His goodness; all that He has put in his word to guide us in our lives. Irma has a wonderful ability to express those joyous and wonderful words of encouragement that are found in the word of God. My wife is seen here sharing in one of our morning devotion times. It was that same morning that she led one of the new workers to Jesus. God has touched many lives here.
Thank you for being a part of our lives!

Cabin\Home update
Irma and I have always rented homes here near Casa de Ninos. Our home is used as well to be a blessing to Casa kids. We have owned a piece of property in the mountains for about 4 years and frequently take Casa kids up there to get away, have fun, and spend time with Irma and I. The Casa kids have walked up to our property so it is not far from Casa de Ninos. We have begun the process of building up there to have a better place for ourselves and the Casa kids to get away. Eventually we want to live up there. In the picture the workers are building a underground water storage tank. The city of Tepic is seen in the distance.

I get many opportunities to be family for children here at the Casa.
One of our new boys is all boy. He just loves to play and have fun. That is one of the joys here at the Casa, watching the kids play and have fun.
We have had several "short term children" at the Casa. Helping the welfare agency care for and loving children while they investigate and decide what to do. We try to do our best to plant many seeds in their lives in the time that we have with them.
Donations are lower, less groups come to the Casa but we are getting more children going through our doors. God will provide and God will keep working as he pleases. It pleases us to be a part of God loving children that are in great need of love.
Have a great day!
