I get many opportunities to be family for children here at the Casa.

One of our new boys is all boy. He just loves to play and have fun. That is one of the joys here at the Casa, watching the kids play and have fun.

We have had several "short term children" at the Casa. Helping the welfare agency care for and loving children while they investigate and decide what to do. We try to do our best to plant many seeds in their lives in the time that we have with them.

Donations are lower, less groups come to the Casa but we are getting more children going through our doors. God will provide and God will keep working as he pleases. It pleases us to be a part of God loving children that are in great need of love.

Have a great day!

Daniela is one of our newest children at Casa de Ninos. She does not speak well but is a real blessing to me personally. She has over the last few weeks been very anxious to pray; raising her hand quickly to have the opportunity to pray for me. I can't say I know exactly why she has been so eager to pray for me, but I like it and am touched and blessed.

Church Services at Casa de Ninos

Irma and I will be leading services for children and some of the staff members starting in Sept 2008.
We are starting from scratch so believe with us to obtain that which is needed for the task. Pray as well for others to help us in this endeavor

Pastor Russ?

This summer I became part of Harvest Network International a worldwide organization of Churches, Pastors, Ministries, and leaders. Things came together and I felt lead to seek ordination as a Pastor through Harvest Network and was so ordained at our assembly in June.
God opened the doors for us to start church services at Casa de Ninos in the fall of 2008. My wife Irma and I will be working as Pastors as well as Directors in Casa de Ninos.
Pray with Irma and I as we work to cause greater spiritual growth in the children and staff at Casa de Ninos.

Summer 2008

Summer was busy at Casa de Ninos with usual things like administrative stuff (boring), praying, groups, visitors, working with staff, hanging out with the kids, watching kids play, etc, but their was some time for fun and relaxing. We spent some time at "Fishin Mission Adventures" a bass fishing business/minsitry that is being established to help support Casa de Ninos, and I made a trip to the USA to visit family (picture of me and my newest grand daughter).
I went to a "Harvest Network International" assembly while in the USA, which I am part of.
